I met Mark back in 2000 while we were both at a health technology company. Their software was truly ahead of its time, even hampered by the limitations of wireless networks and mobile devices capabilities back then. Just like me, Mark’s a passionate technologist who thrives on engaging projects. He’s a prolific writer, contributing technical articles and even publishing a full-stack development book. My own book project had been simmering for a while, and seeing Mark’s success was the spark I needed to finally finish it. Thanks, Mark! A YouTube video first introduced me to Alexey, and I was quickly impressed by his creation of a thriving global technical community. The Google Developer Groups (GDG) community, powered by Google, connects technology enthusiasts through regional chapters worldwide.
